The Place de la Concorde is located at the east end of
Champs-Elysees
Avenue. Considered to be the true heart of Paris, this historic square was once
the location of the guillotine that took the lives of Marie Antoinette and
many others. A beautiful fountain and an obelisk can be found in the
centre of Paris' largest city square.
The Place de la Concorde is one of the most famous landmarks in the Ile
de France Region.
