The Champs-Elysees is the most exciting avenue in Paris and one of the most famous streets in the world.  It runs between the Arc de Triomphe in the west to the Place de la Concorde in the heart of Paris.  The Champs-Elysee is a popular shopping area that features expensive boutiques and large chain stores.

A stroll along the Avenue des Champs-Elysees is a "must-do" activity for all visitors to the French capital.  This photograph was taken from the observation deck located at the top of the Arc de Triomphe.
