Seine-Saint-Denis is one of the eight French departments in the Paris
Metropolitan area (Ile de France). It is one of the three departments
that surround the city of Paris and is located north east of the Paris city
centre.
Seine-Saint-Denis has a relatively high immigrant population. Budget
hotel accommodation can be found in this area of the city.
