Seine-et-Marne is one of the eight French departments that constitute the Ile-de-France (Paris Metropolitan Region). Many hotels are located here, particularly near the Paris Disneyland Resort area.

Seine-et-Marne is located on the outskirts of Paris west of the Paris city centre.  It is the largest French department in Ile-de-France and accounts for nearly half of the Ile-de-France geographical area.
