Hauts-de-Seine is one of the eight French departments that comprise the Ile de
France region (Paris metropolitan area). It is located directly west of
downtown Paris and has a population of over 1.5 million people. Many fine
hotels can be found in this suburban region of Paris.
Hauts-de-Seine, along with two other French departments (Seine-Saint-Denis
and Val-de-Marne), encircle the city of Paris.
